Online stores from zero

Our team has committed to helping people and local businesses overcome this crisis since the beginning of the pandemic, bringing together people who need help with those who can help.

Following our pilot project initiated at the beginning of the pandemic generated crisis, the most pulsating challenge discovered was that of people losing their jobs or being technically unemployed, who suddenly found themselves unable to procure the income necessary for a decent living.

Most of them not having the necessary skills to work from home, they needed support for ensuring the continuity of their family income. Our solution was to bring these people online and provide them with the resources they need to learn new, digital, contemporary skills that they can later use to their advantage.

On the other hand, since the beginning of the pandemic, hundreds of thousands of Romanian companies have become insolvent. Many are still struggling on the verge of bankruptcy, and for some, the effects of the crisis are yet to be felt.

Small and medium-sized enterprises are the worst affected, and the effects extend to their employees and suppliers. There is a need for alternative solutions for business continuity in this period as well as in the future, such as migration to the online environment and the creation of tools and platforms that allow them to carry out business in any circumstance.

In this context, the Online stores from zero project took birth.

During the last months, we managed to bring together a diverse community of over 400 ambitious people, determined to exceed their technological limits. We taught them how to create websites and online stores, always working under the close guidance of an expert. Now it’s their turn to help local businesses grow in the digital environment and use technology to their benefit.

The main advantages of online business, which can make a difference especially during this period are:

Expanding to an unlimited audience

Business visibility will spread across the local and even state borders

Low maintenance costs

A physical space consumes hundreds of euros per month for rent and utilities, while a website costs only a few tens of euros per month

A website is available 24 hours a day, 24/7, remotely, regardless of physical restrictions
